  • LibsofTikTok received special scrutiny; banned many times even though she didn;t really violate Twitter Policy. Instead they claimed it anyway. When Wapo doxxed the owner of LibsofTikTok, she notified Twitter and they DID NOTHING. The doxxing tweet is still up.

  • Different teams used workarounds to censor and or delete accounts based on their own judgement. Yoel Roth advocated for expanding policy to more broadly ban or limit accounts. Per Roth: “We got Jack on board with implementing this for civic integrity in the near term, but we’re going to need to make a more robust case to get this into our repertoire of policy remediations – especially for other policy domains.”
