The builder of this kit managed to make almost every joint bad. Cold solders where the wire didn't wet and neither did the terminal, wires laid against the terminal and prayed together, components wrapped around other devices and kind of maybe not soldered, even the power supply filter wasn't wetted and put together - it just slid around on the terminal.

This lovely example is particularly egregious...bad wire, no wetting, it was just kind of laid on the terminal and the across-the-line safety capacitor was wrapped around the wire and soldered into the insulation. I have no idea how it even worked.

Those joints identified as being properly connected you denier! She was ahead of her time being a DEI solderer. In fact it was probably her (i.pinimg.com) that did it.

She can solder all the motherboards she wants while holding the tip. I need my devices to work.
