Wasn’t exposed to rain or anything. A month ago we charged a battery with it no problem. Went to 100%. Went to use it again and after plugging it in nothing on the led display came on.

It’s day ever since. I plugged it in just now and the display came on. It showed some startup info like normal then turned off. I hadn’t attached it to a battery or anything.

It wasn’t dropped, doesn’t smell like anything burned up, didn’t make any noises or anything.

I don’t want to just throw it away before asking people who may have an idea. Jewgle searches were no help.

Did it work without being hooked to a battery before? Maybe you had it hooked up when you charged that battery before you turned it on.

I have several chargers, a couple of them won't work properly unless connected to a battery.

Try hooking it to a battery. Then powering it up. It isn't going to put out enough in a few minutes of monitoring it as a test, to hurt anything.

That said, I wouldn't use a battery connected to a vehicle right now. Some of those electronics can be susceptible to small voltage spikes.

Thank you. As I recall (have owned it for many years), the led display kind of does a welcome then goes dark. That’s when first plugging it in I mean (no battery connected because there are menu options you can set before putting a battery on it then presing start.

I’ll plug it in then put a battery on it (detached from vehicle) to see if that makes a difference since I haven’t tried that yet).

I appreciate ya!
