Wasn’t exposed to rain or anything. A month ago we charged a battery with it no problem. Went to 100%. Went to use it again and after plugging it in nothing on the led display came on.

It’s day ever since. I plugged it in just now and the display came on. It showed some startup info like normal then turned off. I hadn’t attached it to a battery or anything.

It wasn’t dropped, doesn’t smell like anything burned up, didn’t make any noises or anything.

I don’t want to just throw it away before asking people who may have an idea. Jewgle searches were no help.

Could be a lot of reasons. Microcontroller went bad, capacitors leaked on the board, it's detecting an internal fault....

Unless you can open it and see something immediate, and/or have access to a schematic, it's probably not worth the time to fix. That's just after the time of the capacitor plague, so there may be something with that. Cracked solder joint(s) or bad caps would be my first guess.

Does not. The led displays a welcome and startup info like 0% (because no battery is connected to it).

Without opening it up and looking at it, there's not much I can advise you on.

You’re right. Will be last resort…..which is fast approaching.
