Of curse you can, if you have been assigned the work. We did a quick update on a computer for a local small town government. The mayor said he needed to keep it under $200. It came in at $199. We charged about $20 less than normal on this one. Income is still income. If you have a real opportunity to make a tidy profit, why would you not maximize it, if there is no chance of it coming back to bite you in the ass? You're just making a living, not running a fuck-everyone hedge fund.

Yeah that is the truth. I will install it and show them how easy it is and see if they want one in every office. The install is where you make the money anyways. Install 3 plug keystone faceplates (got 100 plus on hand paid for from another job) and itemize everything in a bill. Can most likely milk this one up to a couple thousand.
