We have an 3 year old 7-port USB 3.0 hub from China (cost: around €5, rather than €20), and it always worked well. Likewise, several *Powstro* automobile power outlet phone chargers just worked fine and delivered fast charging reliably for over 3 years, at 1/6 of the price (around €3, rather than over €20). But I recommend against cheap home wall adapters, as these handle much higher voltages. But many other chinese "garbage" electronics might just work fine!
