I currently have a piece of hardware that uses a 4 wire connection, and I accidentally purchased this LED ribbon (amazon.com) with 3. I couldn't find much on jewgle besides differences in the LED controller (hyperion-project.org). I would appreciate any info on if/how the connections can be converted.

Ah so addressables have 5 wires then?

Ah, I am still in the early research phase of my led projects and have only dealt with cheap on/off strips
