As I explained to COF about joining the FNGT, I'm less of a live player than a construction type music maker. I'm not a fan of modern DAWs, but I do utilize Cakewalk a lot to create and arrange my music. I'm more into electronic music, the old school way, along the lines of Jarre and Vangelis of the 70s/80s eras. I also make more experimental dark synth soundscapes that are less like songs and more like lengthy sonic atmosphere. It's an acquired taste thing though. I'm mostly synths/keyboard, but I do have a Steinberger tuning system headless bass and a Strat that I pick at uselessly when I feel like reminding myself I'm not a guitar player. I'm pretty decent with sound engineering though so I'm not a total loss in the music world. Other than that, I'm very much an amateur but I love synth gear, especially 80s and 90s gear.
