One becomes weak by resting on his laurels, and it's even worse when the said laurels aren't even yours...

See muslims? One source of the problems that they have in the west with their males, is that from day one, the male is told he won everything he's number one, just by virtue of being muslim to begin with, as opposed to dirty kuffar, and he's the male of the family, as opposed to his sister, his name is even mohamed, above it's the sun, there's no upgrade

And what happens, not always but quite often as a result, is that the sister gets it from day 1; either she can afford to tell them to gofuckthemeselves or she'll end up subjugated just like mom, in the kitchen and stfu

So muslim females tend to outperform muslim males when it comes to anything career... And why would she support or settle for some random underachiever while she can get better? Because she can afford to choose, because she earns a "6 figure salary" now...

You can't improve perfection, you can't modify perfection because it's perfect so it makes no sense to change anything whatsoever, that's the issue with anything deemed perfect, such as islam for instance, but I digress...

...

Conservatives, tend to start with the premise that all past achievements are theirs. Achievements of real or supposed ancestors, founding fathers and such, that they built civilization essentially because decadence came with progressives and the further you go in the past the closer you get to what's to be conserved... Logic, sort of... So they have a tendency to rest on "their" laurels with that train of thoughts, they are positioning themselves in a defensive position, merely reacting in the end... While the revolutionaries worked and work their asses off to undo all so called conservative's real or supposed past achievements, by subverting and debasing society at every level... And you know the saying conservatives of today are progressives of yesterday... Sort of lack of circumspection/situational awareness, in the end.

They also tend to want to win a certain way, not necessarily the way they can but the way they want... By applying political methods, road maps, solutions, that are from a different era... A long gone era... With "ingredients" that are no longer available... Again, lack of circumspection.

But that's just one aspect of the problem

Take "rugged individualism" for instance, it's a classic pillar of conservatives' values, and there's nothing wrong with it, it's desirable. Problem is that it more often than not devolved into sheer egoism, selfishness, as in every man for himself and god for all... The problem is that the collective/cooperative action, the team work of an organized bunch, pretty much always prevails over the action of a disorganized one, if we were to oppose the two, that's game theory 101

And on that particular point, the collective, the left is pretty solid despite all its real or supposed flaws, while the right/conservatives... Well they tend to play perso, for cultural reasons mostly, in both cases...
