Republicans, instead of fighting to return the voting process to an honest system, have decided to lie down with dogs and get fleas.
Yep. I used to give them the benefit of the doubt - but no more, especially when they're ignoring people who can help. In some cases, they're hiring the opposition - disgusting.
American politics is being run by blackmail.
Every person in positions where they can sign/pass a deal is being blackmailed.
They are all $2 scratchy cards.

Agree that there's a lot of blackmail. It also seems there are cases of people who mean well but don't understand the system - not seeing how their "good" will be used for bad down the line. An example of that is states adopting the ERIC registration system - well-meaning decision-makers bought the narrative that ERIC would clean up voter rolls and adopted it.
