Actually the crowd was peaceful. Trump told them to go to the capitol. They were still peaceful. A few planted blm Antifa and fbi agents were violent and tried to incite the crowd to violence.the crowd actually confronted the violent ones.
The police then invited the crowd into the capital which is a public building and usually open to tourists just like these tourists.
These tourists walked around the capital with police who let them on including right on to the floor of the house. The tourists did no damage and in fact walked between the rope lines for tourists to keep them away for precious paintings and statues.
All of the above is on released video. Its not in question.
Only later were people arrested for no good reason.
Trump should have directed the don to release all of them and pardoned any except anyone proven to have been violent which would mostly have been the Antifa and blm and fbi plants in the crowd.
Trump Was a chicken shit or a knowing lure to entrappe these people.

Many of those exact same people, the exact same people, are now claiming all of the violence was done by people on the left. They are lying. They are protecting themselves. I don’t blame them, they should be afraid. They are not going to be treated fairly. But they are lying.
I haven't seen it. I have seen video of trump supporters turning away from violent Antifa and BLM associateD agitators an calling them out.
