Actually, it took over 2 months to stop the fucking street shitters from throttling my data to dial up speeds for the entire rest of the month if I use more than 500MB in one day. I finally am getting over 20MB/s after the 10th of the month. They even tried to get me to change my APN (which with their settings bricked my phone with a recursive error message that would pop up again immediately after dismissing it, rendering my phone useless until I flashed the stock ROM and set up my phone from scratch again) claiming it was my phone even though after my data resets on the first of the month I was getting regular speeds and even afterward I was getting pings of under 30ms but a DL/UL speed of 0.03M/s. Yeah, sure, it's my phone and not your throttling packet shaping that is obviously misconfigured.
Oh, they just altered it again. I guess they're live testing me in the past day. It's down to 1M/s, but that's still a THREE HUNDRED TIMES increase and I can actually load the reCaptcha which is necessary for some of the sites I was trying to use for the past TWO AND A HALF MONTHS.
Why are people using their phones to browse the internet (except maybe when shitting)?
Well first off, I already am supposed to have UNLIMITED but that turned out to be a lie. I guess I cost them enough time that they are actually giving what they promised, even if it still should be at least 5M/s when throttled, not 1M and definitely not 0.03M.
And for the past more than 4 years I've been using an exploit on the login page of xfinitywifi hotspots near me to get unlimited free internet using the public hotspots from Comcast customers near wherever I am, which technically ins't illegal because of the "2 free 1 hour sessions" they allow each month, which I found a way around without needing to sign up after every hour session. But it looks like everyone around me switched to Verizon (based on all the new Verizon default router names I see now compared to December), so now I don't have free internet where I currently am living.
Because all my favorites are on it. So easy
