Let’s just say it’s hard to believe that somehow Joe Biden, who was never able to get any real numbers out for any rally, who barely squeaked by in the primary, could have not only gotten more votes than Barack Obama and Donald Trump, but the most in history. For a barely coherent uninspiring stand-in candidate.
Biden also got the most Republican endorsements for a Democratic candidate in history. Biden was picked because he was the boring, safe candidate that enough Republicans would be ok voting for. And with Trump letting coronavirus spread out of control the "vote like your lives depend on it" message was perfect to mobilize Democrats.
Trump played himself and lost, badly.
