I started the Switch version not long ago and got entirely bored and quit. I guess I have just played so many open-world, collecty, upgradey, waypoint task games since 2011 that the magic of Skyrim is lost on me. The combat is so bad and so many other games have done it better since then. Like why would I waste 30 hours on this when I could just play Ghost of Tsushima.

Tbh, if anyone is going to play Skyrim at all today, they’re missing out by not doing so on PC. Then again, modding is a game in and of itself, and can take tons of time before you finally have the custom experience you want.
