I doesn't' help that there are a shit load of completely useless degrees as well.

From the post:

>Americans have grown sour on one of the longtime key ingredients of the American dream. Almost two-thirds of registered voters say that a four-year college degree isn’t worth the cost, according to a new NBC News poll, a dramatic decline over the last decade. Just 33% agree a four-year college degree is “worth the cost because people have a better chance to get a good job and earn more money over their lifetime,” while 63% agree more with the concept that it’s “not worth the cost because people often graduate without specific job skills and with a large amount of debt to pay off.”

I’ve seen articles like this before. You’re right, it depends heavily on what kind of degree people are thinking of. A medical degree will still get you a high income. A fine arts degree never did.

I think we have a problem with young people being sold the idea that those arts degrees are important. 40 years ago people who were not cut out for something hard like engineering would just get a job. Now we tell them they have to go to college or they’ll be trapped among the lower class, but the only thing they can handle is a useless arts degree, so they waste 4 years and tens of thousands of dollars learning what those colleges will never tell them: some degrees are useless.

Well... Idiots think that because they have a piece of paper for something retarded that is not useful to anyone thinks that they DESERVE a high income and a job.

No. Gender Studies is not useful to anyone in the world. To get a degree like that may as well be worth LESS than not having a degree at all as you are not a brainwashed mentally damaged idiot with a shit load of debt. You would have been better off becoming a manger at a Fast Food place (if you are smart enough to even do that, they often make over 100k/yr).

College was "worth it" to the few because the degrees were needed for high paying high IQ jobs. Now, less than room temp IQ morons have masters degrees and think that means they are "educated". Far from it...

Gender studies is useful to libtards that get a federal grift job to steal money. So there is that. I mean at the rate of return on investment, a 100k degree in gender studies, and going to work for the gov, you would likely be worth 5 million in just 3 years.

Maybe for the top few that were already connected that is true. However, for those people they would always have a undeserved over paid job anyway. The rest of them can't even get a job sweeping the floors at Starbucks.
