I totally understand how this happened and why. Times are different today: universities have lost their way and are corrupt. They don't teach students anything other than gender dysphoria and black history. The dependency on taxpayer money never goes down but goes up. The tree is rotted from inside needs to be chopped to the ground, the roots dug up and a new tree needs to planted.

Research funding plateaued as conservative politicians asked why taxpayers were subsidizing institutions they saw as hotbeds for anti-American radicalism.

Wait! So taxpayer subsidies are expected to forever go up? Finally there is a clawback to the never ending desire for funding, especially for funding that hurts America.
