This article was actually written in '95, a year or so after The Bell Curve. I just find this perspective interesting. The writer dismisses racial IQ average differences (which the book isn't even about, race just gets a chapter or two) and embraces meritocracy, despite complaints made by The Bell Curve (the actual point of the book). Of course the writer thinks that as long as leftists run it, meritocracy won't have as many downsides.
