This could also be a temporary data skew. Since Asians have been suppressed the most there is likely a large pool super gooks.

Median IQ by race, Exhibit A. Elite institutions like MIT only draw from the righthand tail once merit is introduced, so east asians in the US having a median IQ in the 105-108 range should lead to them being extremely common in college.
