Quick thinking mother catches Florida Commies breaking the law…

. . When Rosario objected to the constant obscenity warnings issued by the board chair while allowing the excerpts to continue being read, she was directly invoking the law as laid out in HB 1069.

Had the board chair stopped the readings, or "shut them down," the book would legally have to be removed from all shelves within five days.

Yes, it should never have been purchased for the school system. Simple.

Agreed, but there it is, introduced in the dark of night while no one was watching. Now, how else is there to extract it? Personally I'd fire those who put it there and everyone who resisted removing it ... I'd even charge them with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They can not be allowed to walk away unscathed.

Exactly, now you're getting where i'm coming from, instead we have well meaning parents engaged in the very thing they're against .

It's like being assaulted and shooting the offending criminal. Most never want to kill another human being, unless certain lines are crossed. Same for parents protecting their kids. I'd feel no shame reading that trash out loud directly at them as a weapon against them - and getting results than escalating to "more permanent" solutions.

Sure, but It's a public humiliation ritual that parents are reduced to having to read it out in the first place.
