This is a disaster & we must starve the bureaucracy that produces it. Solution: school choice on steroids. If a parent moves their kids from a school spending $30k/student to one that spends $15k per student, the kid gets to keep half the difference. That kid will graduate 12th grade with a 6-figure graduation gift. It's not even close which is a better use of money. We need real vision, not old slogans.
