I tried the higer education at a state university. After being told by my parents, teachers, and others that college was the only option if I wanted to succeed in life. Half of my instructors in college were foreign, and had such thick accents that I could barely understand them. I was also too busy trying to get laid and experimenting with drugs after being on such a tight leash growing up. I ended up dropping out and joining the military. If I could go back, I would have just learned to weld. Or some other trade.
