Hello!

I've been really busy, but I'm enjoying how this series has been going. We're going to mix it up a little bit, but that's because I've been super busy.

Try for two paragraphs, but it's okay if you can't.

Tell me something I don't know about the tanks used in the African campaign. I don't care if it's about Allied or Axis tanks. Tell me something obscure and interesting.

Okay well here goes.

The T34 Tiger Killer tank Well I bet you didn't know you can buy one. There are a few I found for sale online while doing a bit of reading up on them. Cheapest one I found was about 84k which is significantly less than I would have imagined.

The T34 weighed 26.5 tons had a 12 cylinder diesel engine putting out about 500hp. Paul Ludwig con Kleist called it "the finest tank in the world." Its often said to have been one of the most influential tanks in the second world war.

Isn't that Russian? If so, I'm not sure they took part in the African campaigns?

Still, I'll accept it!

No I'm pretty sure its the same one I was reading about in the north African campaign stuff I was reading. Let me double check. It is a soviet tank, perhaps I misread I went back and it doesn't say anything about them in Africa specifically. It was a counter to the panzers. Which at the time it completely outclassed in one on on combat. I found my mistake it says many of them are stored in depots in Africa today. I think this still at least worth a passing grade for the assignment lol.
