Hello!

I've been really busy, but I'm enjoying how this series has been going. We're going to mix it up a little bit, but that's because I've been super busy.

Try for two paragraphs, but it's okay if you can't.

Tell me something I don't know about the tanks used in the African campaign. I don't care if it's about Allied or Axis tanks. Tell me something obscure and interesting.

The Ivory Tower has conditioned people to no longer accept the Citizen Scientist. I am completely opposite of that. I think more citizens should be scientists. Scientific literacy is pitifully low. Numeracy is even lower. Something needs to change.

That I would agree with. Citizens do need to be more interested in science and just try stuff, so what if it blows up explosions are fun to watch. Imagine what could happen, research in genetic engineering(which can be done at home now) physics and every other field done by a whole population would beat out almost any amount of money government can throw at it. We could be immortal by now! not that I want that but the option would be cool. I did IT for a company in California that was working on a drug to rejuvenate the hearts of people who had muscular dystrophy. If you had 100 households working on that in their spare time it would be done and on the market already this was years ago still no drug. The possibilities are endless. Gets me excited thinking about it. Alas I don't think it can be a reality as the average person doesn't seem to care about that kind of stuff.

Immortality is impossible. Entropy is a bitch. That whole second law of thermodynamics isn't just a good idea - it's the law.

I should probably cook some dinner soon. I started the grill and I think I'm going to do burgers and steaks while the ladies do smashed potato and coleslaw.

I lack the time, or I'd tell you the story about Cole and how he deduced the perfect ingredients for a summer cookout side and how it became the law. It's why we have Cole's Law today!

I crack me up!

I look forward to someday hearing about cole's law. However I have to disagree on the mortality thing. Every organ in our body gets replaced almost entirely every so often the shortening of our telomeres is a big part of the reason we age. I would say biological immortality may not be possible but technological immortality may be possible. I should go get dinner myself. There is this farm to table restaurant near by and my wife has been avoiding grocery shopping due to the fact that we should in theory be moving next week. So I think we will head out there for dinner. When I come out to Maine, which should be soon. I will help man the grill or least learn how to properly man a grill, I have done it a few times and about the only thing I can get right is barbecue chicken. I've tried steaks many times and they either end up over done or under cooked. Its an art form for sure. Anyway its been fun but it sounds like we are both off to dinner. At this point I think I can say I'll talk to you later friend, and coming from me thats a deal as I haven't had a friend in years.
