war on poverty failure. that's what is happening. more than 16 trillion for the WOP and still this. legislation and policy to test theories and implement means to reduce crime. throw the book at crime with crime control model or implement a rehabilitative model. doesn't matter. recidivism still more than half. incorrigibility increasing. use restorative justice philosophy and make school expulsions 'equitable'. doesn't matter. bloat bureaucracy and government. still this. this has to be the mean after all that. speaks volumes doesn't it? and the so-called men. see how that one guy slowly crept along the wall after it saw what was happening?

The federally driven efforts requiring that all students be placed in "the least restrictive environment" has led to schools trying to avoid lawsuits by placing dangerous people in close proximity to others rather than isolating them. Erring on the side of caution gets districts and educators sued.

There was a linked article about someone advocating for this poor child who couldn't help himself. I liked this quoted response:

'Claiming his disabilities are and should keep him protected, this is insanity! If he was not stable enough to value human life over a $300.00 video game why was he among innocent lives to begin with? Why were those lives less valuable than his education? This a broken system!'
