I used to live in Phoenix where this system was basically in place as described in the headline. Schools would compete vigorously for your students and knew that you can and would fire them at any time without warning. Night and day difference.
Almost every light commercial development contains a school once the rents come down a bit. There are also free standing private and charter schools. Highly recommended.
Also Arizona determined that a $1000 donation to a private schools saves the state $1500 in education expense. They allow you to make a pretty large donation to schools and receive a 100% tax credit for the amount donated.

About time. My parents paid for catholic school so I got a decent education and still had to pay local public school tax. it was bullshit.

Once the government puts their money on something, they will want to control it. I want to keep my autonomy and freedom. Someone giving me “free” money is never the answer.

There will be other systems that centralize power, and will eventually overthrow your libertarian system because it lacks an overfunded, organized military.
So centralized power is a necessary evil.
The problem is that the present centralized power is a bunch of devil worshiping pedophile sociopath bankers.
I like the idea of dark libertarianism, where the libertarians form a military and crush anyone who threatens their system.
This needs to be done nationwide. Without indoctrination centers paid for with our tax dollars, they have nothing.
