I agree. But it looks good on a resume when you have 5 degrees when you want to make money especially for higher-skilled jobs - it's a differentiator on the applications. After the first degree, it usually only takes 1 year for the next 4 year degree. I'll go back and get two masters and 1 Ph.D. when I retire. The goal is to retire before 40. I'm on track. Yes, I am bragging about how amazing I am. Because I put in the work to get here, no one gave it to me. I was born into white disprivilege.
