1) Homeschool. 2) One room schoolhouse. Cohesive (opposite of diverse) neighborhood gets together, hires one teacher (probably some sort of housing/salary arrangement), finds a suitable facility in the neighborhood, and involved families alternate assisting with upkeep, maintenance and teaching.
I have neighbors who did exactly that early on in the lockdowns. They got together and hired an elementary school teacher for one group of kids and a middle school teacher for another.
As in a local teacher from one of the local schools?
One was a local teacher - the elementary teacher. They paid her to teach the kids she was already getting taxpayer money not to teach. They got the middle school teacher from outside.
