Funnily enough the boys know this. There was a study where they gave kids tokens that they could bet on what grades they got. The girls bet fairly evenly with all their teachers. The boys invariably, and accurately, bet against getting good grades from female teachers.

This doesn't state what grades levels this is talking about or just if all of them. This is largely because we are teaching in schools in a way that caters to the way girls typically learn and pretty much ignore the way boys typically learn better. The way to fix this is to completely overhaul the school so that everyone is actually learning. that won't happen though because school is doing exactly what it was designed to do.
