When TheBuddha was young, sometime around the Jurassic period, we had a nursery rhyme and game we played.
"Chinese school has just begun, hold your teeth and hold your tongue. If you make a single sound, you have to pay a fortune." (Something like that.)
Then, we'd see who could remain quiet the longest. In hindsight, I suspect the game was a brilliant ploy by our parents.

I'm pretty sure it was - though I don't recall who taught us the game. I know other kids played it, so it wasn't just a family game. My siblings and I played it frequently.
