Shocker, Give people free money and they work less and spend it on leisure/entertainment. Sure, some people will invest it, start buesinesses, etc.. The vast majority will just say "free money, better go buy a new bigscreen TV I guess". Did anyone else notice that when the "free pandemic checks" went out that a lot of really big TV's cost about what the checks people were getting were?
