The layoffs come amid a summer wave of job cuts at major companies including ConocoPhillips, Walmart, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, and UPS. Novo shot to fame in 2023 after its GLP-1 drugs, including Ozempic and Wegovy, became celebrity favorites after studies showing rapid weight loss.
