After witnessing covid you should be on a high deductable plan anyway. You should avoid the doctor unless you are in a serious car accident, unless you found one that actually practices medicine.

I pay approximately $12 an hour for health insurance that we have only used a few times over 15 years. No it's not optional due to being in a skilled trade union.
