From the post:

>Subway's has fewer than 20,000 locations in the US for the first time in 20 years. The popular sandwich chain shut 631 underperforming restaurants last year, bringing the total to 19,502, according to franchise filings. It marks the eighth straight year Subway has shuttered restaurants in its home country. It peaked at around 27,000 stores in 2015. Despite the decline, Subway still holds the title of America's largest restaurant chain by location count. The company has faced mounting competition, changing customer tastes, and lower average sales per store compared to rivals—all contributing to its steady pullback.

The quality has steadily declined, along with the IQ of the people they hire. I've been amazed during the few times I've stopped there how ignorant the people are.

I used to get a sandwich there a really long time ago (15+ years) when I was in a hurry and wanted something not-so-goyslop. It got to the point where I would get a stomach ache anytime I ate there since they started using shit ingredients.

I have not gone back since.

Cool, now do the rest.

Shit food; shit service. I can make a better sandwich at home for far less $$.

Related note.. remember when arbys did 5 beef for $5? Their employees don't lol. Economy is shit too.

They always say "quietly" like they're supposed to hold a big sale or send out advertisements

And nothing of value was lost.

Goyslop. No loss. Net positive.
