From the post:

>Denny's has shut 15 more restaurants across the US as the chain battles rising costs and falling sales. It is the latest restaurant chain to be hit with a drop in customers, who have increasingly been eating out less after two years of punishing price rises. The closures at the famed chain - dubbed America's diner - come on top of 57 last year and 60 in 2022. One that shut recently, on June 19, was the final remaining Denny's in Langthorne in Bucks County in Pennsylvania.

I really like Denny's. Them, steak n' shake, and waffle house were the hangouts of my youth. Current inflation forcing rising cost keeps me home and has been for quite awhile now. I really hope there is a recovery.

There won't be. Their prices are fucking insane now. I ate there a few month ago. It was $42 plus tip for two meals with an extra side of onion rings.

In no world is Denny's worth $20 a plate.
