No shit. This is why I always have some cash available. I probably need to have more around than I do but its better than nothing. This is also a really good argument against CBDC's.

From the post:

>Campaigners say the chaos caused by the global IT outage last week underlines the risk of moving towards a cashless society. Supermarkets, banks, pubs, cafes, train stations and airports were all hit by the failure of Microsoft systems on Friday, leaving many unable to accept electronic payments. The impact was especially severe for businesses that no longer accept cash.

Where are the cryptocurrency fans right now? Any comments from the pro-crypto fanbois on this whole debacle?

I have asked friends about this over and over and they keep trying to claim that you can still trade crypto without power but it requires xxxxxx basically it turns into a whole lot of bullshit really fast and they get pissed off and don't want to talk about it anymore.

I've had those same kind of discussions. They always end with me feeling like I just went a few rounds with a (((Flat Earther))). It's more clear than ever that cash has always been a superior method for transactions and has few obstacles in its way in an offline world. Hopefully this event was a wake up call for many people who now see the fragility of the electronic economy. The current system only benefits the jews and it harms the rest of us tremendously. It's got to be reverted back to what worked for millennia.
