The iconic restaurant chain Hooters has abruptly announced the closure of 40 locations nationwide, citing the rising cost of food and rent.

The restaurant chain, known for its attractive and scantily dressed waitresses, will close stores in Florida, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia.

“Like many restaurants under pressure from current market conditions, Hooters has made the difficult decision to close a select number of underperforming stores,” a Hooters spokesperson told the Daily Mail.

“We look forward to continuing to serve our guests at home, on the go and at our restaurants here in the US and around the globe,” they added. . .

Hooters has been retracting for the better part of two decades.

They aren't closing because of bidetnomics, they're closing because it's shit food and we can see boobies anywhere now.

Hooters isn't known for their cuisine. However, I went to a Hooters not long ago and was surprised how good the food was. Certainly, it was not fine dining but better than I had years before.

Fuck Joe Biden simply accelerated their decline.

I think about 20 years ago was the last and only time I was in a Hooters. It hit me as typical bar food. We don't have any Hooters up here in the sticks.

Pretty much all of them in Ohio except for a few in the greater Cincinnati region closed. I think even their competitor, the Tilted Kilt, abandoned Ohio.

We had a "Tilted Kilt" that opened up here about 15 years ago, and closed in 2020. I never made it in for a beer there.

Once a blue chip restaurant whose cups ran over, Hooters faces major shakeups after mounting economic turmoil. My wife dragged me to one a few weeks back with her friend and the friends husband. That was the first time that I had been there in over 20 years. The waitresses were NOT good looking, and ours was fat.
