Yeah, I would say 30 days but logistically its not really feasible and will contribute to a flash-crash of the market. There also need to be rules on how many properties an individual can own for the purpose of renting out so they can't just own 400 properties themselves. I'm still willing to limit this to single family homes but then there needs to be laws/rules that limit the amount of multi family properties that can exist in any given city/county/etc.
Im with you on the foreign property stuff though. New Zeeland won't allow a non-citizen of their country to own property in the country and it is not easy to get citizenship. That is another good idea. How is even Canada ahead of us on this one? It caused massive divesting from the market and dramatically decreased home prices.
"In 2022, the federal government passed the Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act to ban foreign investors from buying residential property in Canada and to ensure the housing market remains available to Canadians"
You think like I do. If I was president, I would extend the invitation for you to be in my cabinet. Zero joke. Level, lol, as in balance.
Idk anything about you, but you are one of the users here I would like to see hold public office. Mayor would be a start. You never know, think about it. Take @boone with you, add him as your diversity hire, kek!!!
Ill only come if the noble and highly victimized cajun peoples finally get reparashuns for having to live so close to the anglo immigrants
Reparations, sure. You may have some of our cash, some fine Columbian snow and black ladies to get on the boat for a one time African coastal tour. Free! And we'll pay you!!! And ladies!!! And, and, and... Have fun over there!!!
I hate the idea of running for office and dealing with the swamp people... Not that it has not passed my mind before and eventually I may just say fuck it and try for it. Too bad I would have to stop posting here and would just have to lurk. The media would love to see the things we talk about here.
From office, you could make new laws concerning the (((Media)))
