Most people don't realize that they not only are already living in the pod.. they travel to another pod to work in. Allowing remote work allows people to spread out and get out of the control system. This cannot be allowed.
These work pods have been increasingly dehumanizing over the years.
Even worse when they decided that "open office plans" would get rid of the "pod" feeling. No.. Now you are just in a room without any privacy at all with headphone on since its so fucking loud you can't think. Yet, somehow.. They seem to think that this creates "watercooler moment" where "calibration thrives".
Nope. Its a load of shit. Especially for "technical people" that tend to work better alone and when it is quiet.
Collaboration not calibration surely?
