I had a GMC 2500HD Crew Cab diesel truck that came with BF Goodrich tires. They lasted about 25K miles. I put a set of Michelins on it and got 70K+ miles out of them under similar operating conditions. Since then I've tried Nexen tires on my latest version of that truck, only at about 20K milrs now but they still look nearly new. Ride quality, traction, noise seem virtually identical, at half the price.
