That's because most places in leftist shitholes are complete dumps not worth anything. I see this crap all the time in Jersey and some suburbs of NYC, you go in, it looks nice, and then you find out everything is broken, down to the door frame being off. And yet, they ask for some absurd amount of money for this. Compare this to a house I used to own in the midwest, which was selling for the same price, in perfect condition with a fifth of the taxes on it
