What do NYU undergrads believe the US average salary is? UCLA students? The average Chigoan on the street? The staff of the Washington Post?
I remember hearing (in the '90s) that 15% of the population believed that Elvis was still alive, and half of those believed that if you mailed him a letter he would reply. Seems to me that a significant portion of any population are always going to be idiots, and the world would be a better place if there were more serious consequences for breathing while ignorant.
