75% of Wharton undergrads are aware that the US Salary Average is (at least) below $100,000 (no surprise that there is no depth to the story). Got it. I'm curious now. What do NYU undergrads believe the US average salary is? UCLA students? The average Chigoan on the street? The staff of the Washington Post?

I remember hearing (in the '90s) that 15% of the population believed that Elvis was still alive, and half of those believed that if you mailed him a letter he would reply. Seems to me that a significant portion of any population are always going to be idiots, and the world would be a better place if there were more serious consequences for breathing while ignorant.
