These past few days, in cash transactions, I’ve been handed many filthy, decrepit and torn bills that should be removed from circulation. More than I can remember receiving in a short period of time. If it is arab/jew store and they are handing out old 20's, I always assume they are laundering money.

Oddly enough, I pulled a number of fresh $20 dollar bills with sequential serial numbers from an ATM about a week ago.

The money gets changed out with or without increase of physical bills. But that can't happen until they reach a bank.
