Not only that, but "made in USA" meant quality.
At that time USA was the only economy left standing afther ww2
Now, the price differential of goods made in any western country and china is so powerful that is a lost battle to resit
What should be done in western world is asking: Where are all the money going ? (the money that make the price differential, clearly)
Instead, the question is: Let's make China similar to us
Clearly, china is resisting the bloodsuckers
Where I come from nobody really gives a fuck about China. Except that we have noticed that a large amount of our currency flows to them. Which is unacceptable.
Somebody is sending money to them, willingly
So, ask them why they are sending money
