The USPS is a criminal surveillance/money laundering operation.
The USPS is definitive proof that anything private business can do, the government can do it worse at greater cost. Consumer freight and delivery is at an all time high and they can't figure out how to leverage that volume for a profit, even with exclusive access to locked postal boxes and absolute immunity from common carrier liability.
The incompetence boggles the mind, but then again I am assuming that the primary purpose of the postal service is mail delivery. If the mission is actually equity, social justice, combatting public misinformation (censorship), and citizen data collection, I'm sure they're doing a great job.
These fuckers just charged me 40 bucks to ship a dozen machine screws less than 100 miles, and they got lost adding to over a week of ship-time. Close this institution and make it a competitive market. So fucking inefficient.
Not to mention all of the fat fucking niggers that 'work' for USPS sucking off the government teet making it even more inefficient.. fucking fuck, man!
Where I used to live, the nigger women at the post office were awful. They pushed me over the edge once when they belittled my dad because he kept losing his PO Box keys. (He’s had cognitive/memory issues for a very long time).
He called me to go meet him there to help out. I recorded the conversation with my phone and let her have it while also trying to get her to say stuff that may get her fired. Total fat nigger piece of shit. Dad was fine paying the fees for the new keys because he knew it was his fault but they talked to him like he was stupid.
I moved years ago now, but that bitch didn’t get fired. She was still there. As expected.
Government workers. Once hired that's pretty much it.. it's sisyphean to take any consequential action.
The quantity of mail has decreased substantially, yet costs and employee numbers haven't adjusted with it.
However, all of their costs and people are sunk costs, i.e. the carrier will run the route if there's 1 letter or 1000 letters. Requires a carrier, a vehicle, and a route regardless of volume.
Perhaps we need to cut mail delivery to 2 days a week, get rid of weekend delivery, and charge junk mailers full price since you can't really argue they are "paying for everything else" anymore since "everything else" is losses.
I'd love to know exactly what day I'm going to have to clean the box out and fill up the recycle bin. I confess I don't know how this would work, I have people around me who literally get mailboxes full of junk on a daily basis. I mean 10-12 junk letters.
