This just sounds like a barter system with more steps and forced commerce so no one can accumulate a large amount of "wealth".

From the post: "A long-forgotten German economist argued that society and the economy would be better off if money was a perishable good. Was he an anarchist crank or the prophet of a better world?"

It would be similar to this:

Get paid in bananas.

Trade bananas for silver. [The most likely situation.] Or other non-perishable commodities like guns, bullets, lead, gold, bandages, etc.

Work more

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Precious metals will always be money no matter what any government tells you. Citizens can always use them for a barter system, to make up the 'change.' It's along the same lines as: bullets do not expire.

Yeah, that is why I was saying its just a "bartering system with more steps". The dumb will never have enough to trade for things of value and will stay debt slaves to their job and government. The rest of the people will learn to work outside of the system to achieve whatever wealth they want anyway. It won't solve any perceived problem at all.

Perishable money is just r-selected retardation.

It kind of already does. Long half-life, but still.

CBDCs.

Every kike's wet dream.
