except, I have never had such an issue getting people to work as I have since the lockdowns. As an example, I hired an electrician recently who legit showed up one day, did 2 hours worth of work, left all of his tools, and never showed back up. I still have all of his tools just sitting there 4 months later. All of my WTF. The people that are willing to make bids are stating 3x the normal cost, and "are booked out for 3 months". This time, it actually seems real.
