Even if it looked that way on paper, that's just a financial fiction. Blue state billionaires are propped up by money printing, blue state GDP is propped up by non-producing "workers" like lawyers and some of the red states GDP is depressed by megacorps exploiting them.
Also most of that federal funding is unnecessary or even actively detrimental to the people in those states. For instance, funding for tranny grooming and migrant handouts.
What would actually happen in a national divorce is flood of parasites overwhelming the open borders of un-America while the working class in the red states find themselves unburdened and wealthier than ever. Maybe even enough to begin rebuilding something resembling a middle class.
Also, most blue states heavily discount a LOT of issues. A good example is California famously does NOT count pension payments as part of its budget. That's like me creating a budget by discounting my mortgage, it's incredibly dumb, and very deceptive. These are also the same states that boast lower crime rates, by simply decriminalizing second degree murder (Illinois), decriminalizing assault (California, Illinois, NJ, NYC), decriminalizing giving someone AIDS (California), etc
