I wonder what you would have thought the switch from a 7-day work week to a 5-day work week would have been had you been around for that switch. 4-10s or 9-80s are not an uncommon work situation. Same with the 3-on-2-off shift work found in many industrial jobs. They've been in place for a long time now and things, surprisingly, do work with these arrangements. Most people fuck around with their work anyway so 5 days does not make for more efficiency. Also, wage-slaving is a jew trick so why kill yourself with mostly useless work so the kikes can profit more?

True. The 6 day work week was the norm until a suit by the I.B.E.W. gave us the 5 day/ 40 hr workweek, along with retirement at 65.

Behind a paywall.

When the four days get lengthened by an hour and a bit which is what my boss wants to do at the moment because fucking casuals keep noping out. Almost had to do a days work on my own when my team of 5 turned in to one guy who got to the car, asked where we were going, spat the dummy and walked on me but showed up 5 minutes later, vast majority of them are backpackers.

I dont know what to tell em, its a shit job that everyone hates but its work if you want it

Particularly in white collar, knowledge worker fields, productivity and hours worked equate very little if at all. For the simplest example, consider Shakespeare vs a thousand NPCs posting on Twitter. After four days, Shakespeare will have a solid start on a new play. A thousand NPCs will never produce a single play in their lifetime.

So before, they were paying employees 40 hours worth of work for less work in return. Now they're doing the same thing, but it's open? I can only see this as being the case if they claim it's going well.

4 days you work 10 hour shifts, not 8. Still 40 hours.

4 10's cuts down on commute time for the employees and in big cities, that can be quite significant. The 4 10's put the commute on the lighter ends of rush hour, and removes the commute entirely on the 5th day.

The article said a paid day off.

Sorry, was a paywall so couldn't read past the first paragraph.

If that's what it said, then they are dumbases.

Casual Friday is a bust especially if you have worked hard all week

[–] 0 pt 2y

Uhh nyt, of course it is an idiot

[–] 0 pt 2y

If they are doing 10 hour shift, then sure. If they are going by State by State laws, then sure too.

It is called liberal/communism.

Not idiotic at all. Workers do better with more rest. Study after study ... shows this. Workers do better with more "rewards" (pay, salary w/e) again study after study shows this. They're kinder, more efficient and smarter. The brain doesn't appreciate being a jew's wage slave.

Either the people do nothing on the fifth day or the person writing the article is an idiot

Or you're a dumbass and think jewish wage-slavery is a good thing that should be striven for.
