The list of stores is a who's who of niche or old-school retailers that failed to change, with a handful of overpriced crap stores that always suffer during a recession. At least the ones on there that I've heard of, I have to assume the others are similar.

Except for Walgreens, they overexpanded something fierce and now are closing stores. There are several around me - which, when you think about it, how many Walgreens do you need in a mile radius - that have closed or consolidated down to a standalone pharmacy with just medical-related retail stuff. They're still the most expensive store in the area, I don't see how people can afford them.

Walgreens doesnt compete based upon price. They compete on niche selection, convenience, and customer service. If I want a specialty battery, moleskin bandage, or tube of sunscreen...Walgreens will have it. And they're usually a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio of employees to customers, so I'm not going to wait in the checkout line for 20 minutes. If I'm going to walgreens, who cares if they charge a 20% premium? I'm spending $10-20, and paying an extra couple bucks is well worth not losing 1/3 of my hourly wage standing behind some trailer park trash screaming at their autistic kids.

Dude….way off. This list is shit

Rolex and patek are running very strong. They have years long waitlists and are increasing production….in Switzerland…..where they are made.

Emirates airlines laid people off two years ago, but are back now.

The worlds luxury sector is at an all time high. I’ve never seen it like this. Go try to buy a Porsche and see what they say. Go ask a Rolex dealer if you can try on a Daytona.

AirBnB is killing it.

Hermes and Chanel discontinued. The fuck are you taking about?

Starbucks closing isn’t a surprise because they opened too many stores, and still are.

It’s an old list that has no relevance in todays market.

The founder of AirBnb said that because of pandemic, 12 years of efforts were destroyed in 6 weeks.

I kept traveling and staying at AirBnB. The problem wasn't the scamdemic, it was AirBnB being a bunch of scamming dickholes.

Hermes is discontinued

Then why did I just prep my pieces of equipment for, probably $400k+ our pay, event for ‘em? I haven’t seen it online tho.. Unless they’re doin classic mob-style skimming and/ or laundering... Don’t care ultimately ha!
