What makes it worse is that precious few women choose useful fields where they can support their husband staying at home to raise children once they're done breastfeeding. It's overwhelmingly touchy-feely bullshit that pays $40k/yr with a bachelors degree because math is scary.
Everyone wants a McMansion in the suburbs, a new car, multiple cellphones for everyone at any age. It's the status seeking bullshit to fill their empty lives. Women don't need college that's just to find a man.
That's the thing...I can understand the tiny minority of gals who dont want children and decide to major in mechanical engineering so they can develop the next great diesel engine because they love doing that.
What I dont grasp are the majority of gals who rack up a ton of debt to get their MRS degree in some fluffy nonsense and then bail on work to do what they wanted all along: to raise children. What was the point? Handing your husband $50k in student loan debt because you're a douche canoe? You dont need a liberal arts degree to teach Little Timmy to bake cookies. It's all status seeking BS.
